Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council wins medical travel award again

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 — The Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) brought home the “Medical Travel Organisation of the Year Award” for the second year in a row yesterday at the annual Asia Pacific Healthcare and Medical Tourism Awards in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

MHTC’s Chief Commercial Officer Yazmin Azman said that receiving the award for the second time consecutively was an honour and that it solidified MHTC’s role as an agency of choice in the global arena.

“Truly, we see Malaysia gaining more traction and popularity as a leading global destination for healthcare. At the same time, it bodes well for MHTC to gain recognition for the role we play as an agency operating with the full support of the Ministry of Health,” she said.
