SIBU: The police have identified 17 hotspots and more than 100 individuals in Sarawak who are likely to cause trouble during the general election, said Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The Inspector-General of Police said the state police were up to the task should trouble break out during the polls.
“We have identified more than 100 individuals in Sarawak and 1,151 have been identified nationwide. We might have to increase the number (from time to time) based on reports from the ground,” he said during a press conference after chairing an election preparation meeting on Tuesday (April 3).
